Neighborhood Hardware Store Puts Customers First I visited Stanley's Hardware on Ridge Ave for the first time shortly after moving into my new apartment. I had a list of items I needed and a few things I wanted to check the prices on. Best Hardware Store in the Area This place is handy for me and I shop here frequently for my business. I always get good, knowledgeable service and helpful advice from the many members of staff. There's ample parking and though the building is deceptively small on the outside, it's jam-packed with inventory and those interesting bits and pieces that you tend not find in the big warehouses.

Great hardware store Everyone at Stanley's hardware is very friendly and they have an excellent selection for the size of the store. When you ask for help, the workers don't just point you in the right direction, they ask you what kind of project you're doing to be sure that you're purchasing what's best for your needs. I would choose Stanley's any day over the larger hardware stores.

The Place to Go To These folks have pretty much every item you need, as well as every service I have needed for many years. I can call with my questions prior to going there and they will show me exactly what I need and tell me what to do to complete my project. They are sooo much better than you common larger home improvement stores. I'd pick to go here over the big boys.

How would you like walking through the door and 98 percent of the time being personally greeted by an employee who knows what he's talking about and asks you how he can help you? That's what happens at Stanley's hardware on Ridge Avenue in Roxborough. The store was recently rebuilt and enlarged. They have every kind of hardware item you need. Nice store and nice people – I am new to the area (East Falls) and was very happy to find a good hardware store like the one I grew up with in Bethesda ,MD. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and they have everything you could ever need for an old house.
