In 1991 I was 39 and fell off a ladder,l landing on my right hip pointer and driving the head of the femur trough the hip socket. I was transported to the ER and most fortunately Stanley Dysart was on call. because of the damage, the surgery took over 8 hours. He had to install 3 steel plates and 13 screws. After surgery, Dr Stan visited me several times a day in intensive care. After I was released he saw me a couple of times a week for several weeks. I can walk today because of the knowledge and expertise of Dr San Dysart.... read more
Mid 2016 in my late 50's had both knees replace (one at a time) the new type of anesthesia worked great - for the 2nd knee I was first surgery and home that night! Loved it. I chose Dr Dysart after seeing him and others over my years of knee pain, and he does not hold your hand - he does communicate well to me and to family and is a great surgeon -Which is what I wanted and why I chose him! His PA team is also great as is the PT team - and I love it is ALL at one location. Will always use Pinnacle and hope all the other phys... read more
May be a good surgeon but don’t expect to see him after the surgery. After the surgery is completed he turns you over the his PA. Very interested in the surgery aka money not the patient.
He failed to ask doctors within his own practice to review scans and X-rays so I lived for 4 years in pain after THR. He said nothing wrong, must be my back. Had 5 epidurals, chiropractor, pain doctor, massage therapy, physical therapy and regular doc has me On all kinds of pills for pain which impacts my life. When I saw another doc in same practice they said it was obvious they could See An issue 3-4 yrs ago. An ego put a patient in danger and in pain.
Going to change physicians. You see him once then left to a very uncaring PA. Her name is Monica. If you need an injection avoid her at all costs. She's horrible. Find a team that cares.
Dr. Dysart is a knee surgery processor and that's about it. Never get to see him...doesn't even see you in the hospital the day after surgery. His PA's are the ones who you get to see. His PA, Monica during an exam, at one point after Dysart suggested surgery asked me if I really need surgery. I should have told her to ask the doctor...not me! Went in a couple of times complaining about swelling and pain in the back of my knee. It still hurts after a year and a half.
I had to have my hip replaced due to a necrotic condition. I was scheduled expeditiously and recovery was fast. Driving in 3 weeks playing tennis 8 weeks after surgery.
