Saw Dr Marczyk for a thumb injury. Personable, comfortable during exam, easy to talk to. Explains everything about the injury very clearly. Also good experience with the entire staff from front desk to checkout. Based on this visit,I would recommend Dr Marczyk.
I thought he was a great dr but I learned that he is a Worker Comp puppet like many others at Shore. He gets his money and kicks you to the curb. All about the insurance payout and not the patient.
Surgeon Dr. Marczyk is amazing! He is professional and was incredible with my 11 year-old son. He operated on my son's hand after a knife accident, repaired tendons and restored full function. Spent the time to answer my sons questions and made him feel calm before surgery. The first question people asked us when they found out about my sons injury was, "did you go to Philly?". I saw Dr Marczyk after being misdiagnosed/mis-treated by another doctor. Dr Marczyk was very thorough, asked lots of questions. I felt confident he understood my hand inflammation issure and trusted his advice. Gave me lots of information.
If you have a question outside of your appointment, whether it be about anything surgically, medicine related, or complications, DONT expect a return call. I’ve had foot surgery before, if I called the office to ask a legitimate question, the SURGEON would personally call and give his support, Dr. Marczyk, good luck. Also, bring loads of questions because he’s terrible about explaining limitations following surgery and what you can/can’t do. A surgeon shouldn’t treat you like a number. Not good.
Dr Marczyk made me feel like I had known him since childhood, when I first met him as a patient. I went to see him for what turned out to be skin cancer on my left hand that needed t be removed. A skilled surgeon , get personality and let’s not forget to mention the office staff. I wish I could make him and the staff my primary Dr. Thank you for a fantastic job.
I couldn't be happier with the care I received. The office is conveniently located, the wait time for the doctor was nearly zero, and I felt that he genuinely listened to my concerns and explained the rationale behind my treatment plan well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.
Excellent Dr! Truly cares about his patients! He did my hand surgery and what a great surgeon he is. He T akes his time with you, easy to talk to and is all around a really good doctor/surgeon. Highly recommend him! Thank you Dr Marczyk for fixing me up again!
