Great Servic Even when this place gets extremely busy the service has always been exceptional. The food is good too. The fish and chips are my favorite. You can never go wrong here.
STANFORDS! I love to eat at Stanfords everytime I shop at Lloyd mall I have to eat a late lunch / early dinner there! They have a special in the bar where there delicious hamburger (with fries) is only $1.95! during certain hours I think 3 to 5? and it is such a good hamburger too! They have other great food too during the special but I always get this so I don't remember what else is offered at the special price.
I love this place. Stanford's is one of my favorite places to eat. When my husband and I have a date night he knows where I want to eat. I always love to hit their HAPPY HOUR. It always leaves me smiling. It is everyday from 3-6 and they serve regular size portions of select items for just $1.95, it is unbelievable! My husband always orders the chicken strip meal which sells for $8.95 in the regular dining area or at non-happy hour times, just to give you an idea of the great value! ***BIG WARNING MUST READ**** – For more than a year now, Stanfords has been under new ownership, along with at least another of their resteraunts, Billy Heartbeats. Meh. – My cousin had a 2-for-1 entree certificate for Stanford's. We originally went to the one in Lake Oswego, but the wait there was an hour and a half, so we decided to call the Lloyd Center one to see what the wait was there. We were told 30 minutes and when we got there, it actually ended up only being 10-15 minutes. Host staff was polite. Waiter was pretty good; always kept my glass full. What happened? – I took my two daughters to Stanfords at the Lloyd center- both are vegetarians- but i am not. Very little choice for them but they settled on a tomato salsa /basil pasta dish and my older daughter had the mac and cheese sans bacon. The mac and cheese was alright according to my daughter but the pasta dish had at least four ounces of oil at the bottom of the dish when she was "finished" and labeled it nasty. Nice atmosphere, average experience – This was my first time eating at this Stanford's and I wasn't all that impressed. We had frequented the one in Seattle, WA (mostly for happy hour) and had been fairly happy with it. We were a group of 7 and our waitress seemed either very new or uncertain of her job. Excellent steaks! – Our favorite affordable steakhouse! Great place to drink, dine and watch a game. We usually sit in the bar because we like privacy. There are some good booths in the restaurant area, too. The service is always good and the steaks are to die for. The garlic mashed potatoes are creamy and delicious. The salads good and the seasonal side vegetables are never overcooked. We love this place...if only I could eat filet mignon every night! The seafood is also worth cheking out.
