I have been trying to get an appointment with a female doctor. Unfortunately, there is only one available at this location R Canio. I doubt she is a real physician or not. The office administrators schedule the appointment and then cancels the appointment on the day of, saying the doctor is out of office. Beware of this office and their staff. I had a really good experience going here, everyone was very polite and had a positive attitude. Yes, if you are not an existing patient you need to make an appointment to establish care before you can schedule your annual physical, but that has been the case at John Muir too and at least here I was able to get an MD not like at John Muir where I could only get a RN. Easy parking and the office looks very new and clean.

This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing healthcare experiences I’ve had as a patient. I scheduled a preventive care visit with Dr. Stephen Chua and clearly stated during the visit that I only wanted preventive care. Despite this, I was later billed as a new patient evaluation (99204), which was not what I expected or consented to.
