They take 1-2 weeks to Process a referral. Then on the phone they will make you wait a long time, ask a bunch of questions, make you gather a lot of information, and then tell you their next appointment is two seasons away. The phone support is not accommodating if you have brain fog and cognitive issues. This was my first contact with Infectious Diseases Department. They were very pleasant, concerned and helpful.
Dr Ferguson was on time, very courteous, and understood my issues. She was engaging, listened intently and was very clear in her responses. l felt like she showed genuine interest in my wellbeing and health.
The PACS and ME/CFS Center at Stanford offers truly exceptional care. While I’m not a post-COVID patient, I’ve been receiving treatment for ME/CFS and have felt consistently supported and understood. Carmen Yu, PA, is incredibly kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. The clinic takes a holistic, compassionate approach and really gets how complex these conditions can be. I’m genuinely grateful for the care I’ve received and feel lucky to be under their guidance.
