They reviewed and accepted my referral for the ME-CFS clinic in about a week, which I thought was great. However, what I didn't find out about until later is that even after being seen in person there was no option for telehealth through this clinic. Travel is very challenging for most with ME-CFS and is expensive for anyone. They take 1-2 weeks to Process a referral. Then on the phone they will make you wait a long time, ask a bunch of questions, make you gather a lot of information, and then tell you their next appointment is two seasons away. The phone support is not accommodating if you have brain fog and cognitive issues. They will wait for at most 2 minutes for you to find the information to answer their questions, then make carefully read it over the phone. If you have neurological symptoms, that's a lot of work. Dr Ferguson was on time, very courteous, and understood my issues. She was engaging, listened intently and was very clear in her responses. l felt like she showed genuine interest in my wellbeing and health.
