Stanford is medically superior to most hospitals. the only downfall, as a teaching hospital, there are many ego's, and that leads to some power games. Also the pharmacy is a bit slow to listen to patient regimen. But when the hospital add on is finished, it will shine so well in most departments. if you are critically, or terminally ill, or have an unusual illness, Stanford is for you, I promise.
I was at Stanford Immunology clinic for my Osteoarthritis and chronic pain. The staff is very cordial. Narian (receptionist) is awesome, patient and helpful. Dr. Jison Hong is exceptionally good! She is warm, attentive and takes her time listening to my needs. She explained to me my options. She even went to see me on the day she wasn't suppose to be in the office.
