We took time off from work, drove hundreds of miles, and spent thousands of dollars to bring our son to Stanford because we knew that the doctors there are among the best in the world. Apparently, the doctors know of their reputation too. However, there is a line between confidence and arrogance, and it's not particularly thin. We had an amazing experience here. My son got his tonsils removed and the process from intake to getting into his room was smooth. They were running late but they made sure to inform you how long they were running behind. Once my son got into his room the nurse came in explaining everything and how the process went. Ordering my sons food was easy. They had a big variety to choose from. Once it was time to leave they made sure we had all of his medication and all of his doctor notes for school.
