I have been seeing Dr. Standiford Helm for many years (don't know why I stuck it out as long as I did). He is the worst Doctor I have ever met. He is smug in his replies and impatient to answer client questions. While he was typing away furiously on a computer and I was trying to have a conversation with him about my treatment, he didn't give me the attention I felt I needed. Elia Perez has made it so difficult for me that I had to change Drs. She violated my hippa rights, and was negligent when asked to take care of my pain. I have reported her to my Insurance and patient advocate. Beware. I have never ever been treated so poorly by anyone let alone a PA. She seems to think she is a Dr and yet she didn’t further her education. My husband is a Dr and would lose patients with that kind of bedside manner. She is just awful. Finally a pain doctor who listens. I've seen so many who can't figure it out. His experience makes the difference. I hope he doesn't retire too soon.
