My husband and I went to the Standard Optical in Harrisville. I thought our appointments were 10:20 and 10:40, we walked in at 10:10. The guy at the computer was very snarky and said they would only see one of us because one of the appointments was supposed to be at 9:40. I get if we miss an appointment that's on us but someone with customer service skills would have nicely said, I'm sorry you missed your appointment can we reschedule? Mike and I both went to this location and had all our needs meet beyond expectation. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them.
Definitely not kid friendly!!! Went to an appointment for my 4 yr old daughter and he kept getting upset and impatient when he would ask her to point she started tracing the letter and he said no not trace I said point! When he asked her to sit on her knees and she wasn’t moving fast enough or didn’t understand what he asked he got frustrated again and told her again no I said sit on your knees I finally had to tell him he needs to calm down she is 4 years old a toddler that just started school this year and he just ignored ... read more

Horrible company, a few years ago I went to have laser surgery. $3500 +$500(they talked me into free lifetime touch ups). Well my first surgery the optometrist tried to talk me into oone eye near and other far sighted. I told him no, just balanced 20/20. I get the surgery, after recovery I noticed my eyesight was off. He apparentgly took it upon himself to give me the differential surgery. He told me I'd need a few years before he could have it corrected. I was asked to try trail pack of once daily contacts. Enjoyed them and ordered a year supply. I asked for another trial pack to last till my contacts arrived since I would be out before the new ones came and was told no. Hopefully these once daily contacts will last longer then one day. Ill be finding a new eye doctor
I recently had lasik and I love it, I love the staff they are really friendly and have your best interest have been going to standard optical for many years and I don't have a complaint at all.
