My boiler broke down and I reached out to this company because it has such high ratings. They charged $199 for the inspection and told me that the only solution is to replace the entire boiler, an estimate of $10-12K (!). They never sent me a written estimate or description of the problem. Long story short, somebody else fixed it for me for $300, the pilot light just needed to be cleaned and adjusted.
Technicians from Standard Heating have always been courteous, knowledgeable and on time. We have been customers for 20 years and 2 houses.
11-05-25 This is an updated review based on my service call today to fix a water condensate leak problem with my HVAC unit. It needed to be addressed quickly and Standard Heating was able to quickly schedule a service call. Jake, the service technician, arrived on time. He was extremely professional in diagnosing the problem and fixing it. I have had a lot of HVAC service technician calls over the years and Jake ranks in the top 5% of technicians I have dealt with.
