Dr. Stanback is amazing if you enjoy being spoken to in a condescending manner. He also does a great job of making it known that he is in a position of power and control and reminding you that you are not. If you like to overhear him discuss you and your situation in the hallway with a colleague then don't hesitate to make an appointment today! Just make sure you are prepared for the unprofessional manner and condescending tone so it doesn't surprise you.
He is my only choice when it comes to my first go to doctor. He listens to what I say and ask questions about how I feel. He goes above and beyond his calling. He has always taken great care of me and referred me to the best doctors when needed. I just got married and now my husband goes to him as well. Very caring and does all he can to make sure you are on the road to recovery when you leave his office.
Been seeing Dr. Stanback for 20 years. I left him yesterday for dropping the ball on my health that he should have caught. My symptoms were textbook and it is a returning tumor! I feel so let down.
Dr Stanback is very knowledgeable and personable. He stays busy but always has time to discuss any medical issues I might have. He is not hesitant to refer me to a specialist if he feels it is warranted.
EXCELLENT experience. Not sure about the person who suggested that Dr. Stanback didn't "run the tests I needed" as I go to a doctor so that HE can tell me the tests I need to have run. I am not a doctor. Attentive physician who listens to me and, more importantly HEARS what I say. Wouldn't use another doctor in town.

I was told they took walk-ins if you were there at 8. My entire foot is swollen and impossible to walk on. I was there at 7:40 (3rd patient there), but I couldn't stand outside with the other patients due to the swelling and pain in my foot. Once they unlocked the door, I followed 5 others in only to be informed that the doctor would not see me as that was all the walk-ins they would take. I'm barely standing, swollen foot, clearly in pain, and was cold-heartedly turned away.
The office staff was ok. Dr. Stanback was SUPEr friendly and explained things in a common way.
Worst experience I have had with a healthcare provider. While I disliked waiting over an hour for my scheduled appointment, that was the most pleasurable part of the visit. I am well researched on my hypothyroid condition and wanted Dr. Stanback's help addressing possible vitamin deficiencies. He didn't listen to me and didn't run the blood tests I needed, but did run others that I didn't. He only spent about five minutes with me and did not help progress my health. Would never recommend.
