I needed a total knee revision on my left knee. This would be my third surgery requiring a knee replacement. Dr.Stanat has done the previous two. The prep has changed a little bit for my last surgery. The nerve blocks were the difference maker. Pain management program Dr. Stanat prescribes worked out perfect for me. I felt zero pain in the entire time. I never took any OXY codeine. I am extremely satisfied with my TLKR. I have two friends that had knee replacements in the last year and a half, one had non-robotic, and the other had Conformis. I can say with total confidence that my experience has been better, with a much better ROM, than either of them. I recommend Dr. Stanat highly, as well as my wonderful PT, Jeff, at ECRC, in Dayville, CT. I feel very fortunate to have had such a great team, and such a positive outcome. You’d be very fortunate to have Dr. Stanat as your surgeon.
I had my Left knee replaced on April 5 and my right knee replaced on July 12, I had physical therapy at Orthopedic Partners following both surgeries twice a week for 6 weeks. In both cases I found Dr. Stanat's team to be very good and on top of everything. I am very satisfied with the whole experience. Thank you Dr Stanat. (and team)
The Dr. explain everything clearly and his staff are top notch starting with the Techs all the way up to the P.A. If your having knee or hip problems I recommend Dr.Stanat (don’t waste your time going anywhere else.)
I had total replacement of my right hip after Christmas and was driving again by Valentine's Day. Now I am hiking the Connecticut Blue Trail system before Easter. I'm 76-year-old and overweight, but the physical therapists remarked that my recovery was faster than usual. The speedy improvement may have been partially due to my customary tai chi routine in the years before surgery or to the robotic assistance in positioning during the procedure, but credit certainly goes to Dr. Stanat and the care team at Orthopedic Partners.
Dr. Stanat initially treated me for a right hip fracture. A year later, due to arthritis, I needed a left hip replaced & this year I had a left knee replaced. Both surgeries were done robotically. Dr. Stanat is up to date on new procedures. He spends time explaining everything to & is very down to earth. I have full confidence in him. The staff is always pleasant & helpful.
