Awful awful awful. Landlady is GREAT… but it can’t save the fact that the laundry machines DONT WORK… the elevators are out of order 60% of the year… DON’T LIVE HERE
STAY AWAYYY! Packages are stolen constantly, and management does absolutely nothing about it, and nor the cameras work. Homeless people entering the building during the cold months (about 6 months), and it's 3 blocks from jail!!! Did I mention that the elevators are constantly broken? I mean, too often, and they don't tell you this before you sign the lease, but this place just don't recycle AT ALL!! The Stafford is a beautiful, historical apartment. The people who work in The Stafford are my favorite part of the building. As is typical with older apartments, there have been some issues with leaks and hot water, but the staff are very quick to resolve all issues. Especially Christine and John. A great location with a good price point for the space and great management. The price is good (at least it was for me YMMV, and neg) as it includes utilities which is great for budgeting. Internet is good as it’s fiber and your own network. The location is prime, right on the square so great for all the events and green space. DIRTY. NASTY. MESSY. OUTDATED. DO NOT move to this place. The apartments are extremely small and the condition is completely unacceptable for the price and given the area. Water stains in bathtubs and sinks from years and years of neglect. Mold on the bathroom walls. Cheap, dirty, and lackluster carpet. Horrible paint jobs and repairs that a teenager could have did better. Felt dirty from the moment I stepped into this place.
