It's not that great I don't get what all the fuss about Stack's is. I've been there on two seperate occasions and ordered different things. I don't see why there's always a HUGE crowd waiting to get in (even on weekdays). Maybe I'm not a "breakfast person", but their food isn't anything exceptional to me. If I wanted cold pancakes and soggy waffles, I'd rather go to IHOP's anyday.
Best breakfast This is one of the best breakfast places in the Bay Area, and everyone knows it. Be prepared to wait as long as an hour or more. Thankfully, they provide lots of seating space outside and coffee. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service seems to keep up with the crowds well too.

I Don't Get It A bunch of my friends swear by Stacks (both in Burlingame and in Redwood City) and I just don't get it. The prices are high, given the relatively small amount of food you get, and although breakfast food is tasty, it's not that much better than you would get elsewhere (personally, I think the Millbrae Pancake House is much better). Expensive, but I love it This is a great place to enjoy breakfast. I personally love their waffles and find them to be unique as they offer various types of waffles, with nuts and fruit toppings. Its a little pricey, but I've never felt like I wasn't getting what I paid for. Plus they have good orange juice and that makes all the difference in the world to me.
Perfect for Breakfast Stacks restaurant is one the the more popular restaurants in Burlingame. If you are planning to come here, make sure to come early! It is usually always packed on weekends. Take out is just as good. The waits can be long to eat at Stacks so we decided to order take out. Try it, the food is just as good, and no wait times. I placed the order, then hopped into my car. The food was waiting by the time I arrived. About 15min.
