Went the 3 of us to get breakfast and they skimped us out on portions. I’ve been to other Stacked restraunts and this particular one gave 50% of the food that the others gave. Rip off
Let's start with the decor...it's Stacked...so comfortable but not fancy. Food was awesome, especially for Stacked...but our server was far more interested in their closing duties rather than serving us. We arrived at about 130pm First rule of breakfast places...get drink order quickly and get the hot beverages to the table...also quickly. So normally, pretty decent food wise. Ive served breakfast for much of my adult life. Staff, incredibly sad. Place was empty except 1 table bc it was early. So obviously a single eating alone would want to sit at a table for 8 in the very centre of the restaurant, not! I moved to a booth at side. Followed by placement of a dirty cutlery roll. It is your typical chain restaurant. Bacon had definitely been precooked. I'm always looking for places the make actual homefries the way they used to be. I asked and the waitress indicated they did. But they actually don't. The new format restaurants have been using is square or sometimes sliced deep fried fries. Just because they aren't in French Fry shape does not mean they aren't fries. What happened to the good old way of making "grilled" potatoes. Even grilled grated hash potatoes would be awesome. Deep fried potatoes ... read more
