This was my first time with her clinic & I was very impressed. When I called asking for an appt for severe eye pain, they got me in within just a couple of hrs. They spent over 2 hrs seeing me- talking with me, doing tests & scans to figure out that I have optic neuritis in both eyes. They also called to coordinate with my MS neurologist to get infusions ordered for me. My family has seen Dr. McMullen for years, my husband and I and our three children. She is fabulous with all five of us. My son has seen her since he was 5 years old. I have Graves’ disease and Dr. McMullen has stayed current on the treatments and was able to quickly recognize when I needed to step up my treatment. I am very picky about my medical professionals and Dr. McMullen and her staff are all amazing!!
My daughters and I have been seeing Dr. McMullen for years (since my daughters were very young) and we drive a long distance to see her. She is very likable and knowledgeable. One of my daughters has an extreme prescription and Dr. McMullen is tenacious in trying to help her see better.
Amazing provider, great with kids and adults! Very knowledgeable and super friendly. She was extremely patient with our two wild boys. Would highly recommend to anyone!

My familiy and I would follow Dr. McMullen wherever she practices (and we have!). She diagnosed a very serious eye condition that I had and recommended me to a specialist. I think she saved my sight. She also was instrumental in diagnosing and treating my daughter's eye problems and walked her through 4 months of vision therapy. She not only is expert in her own field, but she knows so much outside her direct field of study that she can catch things that other optometrists might miss. Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you? He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me. Does this provider offer flexible appointment times? Absolutely! I never have a problem! Did this provider wear an obnoxious cologne? Not at all, their cologne smelled great Does this provider remember you by name? Every single time, even if it's been months since my last appointment!!
