My son got us a gift card for Stables Steakhouse for Christmas. We made a weekend get away to Terre Haute to celebrate Valentines early. This was our first trip to Stables, it was so beautiful on the inside, a hidden treasure. We both loved the steak, I had a filet mignon and my husband had the porterhouse. My husband has not shut-up about the steak but I have to agree it was like butter in my mouth. Our waiter was very helpful and had great suggestions regarding the menu. I know we will be back.
Service was outstanding and the food was on point.
I've been in Terre haute for 11 yrs I've heard so many great things about stables and sadly I'd never tryed it. Tonight I was at an event they Catered for regional hospital at the Hulman center n I was so sadly dissapointed. They had a snack table with cheese hummus n crackers with olives n a few other things.. the table was never maintained. Amazing food and service! Black and blue bites cannot be beat! And Jess is an excellent server!
I had a truly amazing experience here Sunday night. Our server, Peter, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about every dish. He guided our meal choices and made the evening and food that much more enjoyable. The roasted Caesar salad and bread pudding were amazing! Highly recommend and will return.
