In the past Ive met amazing doctors and nurses who work here. But yesterday was disturbingly bad. I had serious chest pain issues. I got the x ray and blood test within an hour or 2. Then they sat me in the ED waiting area for nearly 7 hours!!! If I had a sore ankle or a broken thumb fair enough. But chest pain is not a "go out there and wait for 7 hours" level issue. dr Ravi Huilgol, arrogant and didnt care. Mother had lost alot of use of her leg due to reduced blood flow (Ravi agreed) cant find the blockage, when saline is introduced it forces blood into the leg which fixes her symtoms for days or weeks (she can even run) then it goes back to not working. His solution?? Blood thinners? No Increase blood pressure? No, Saline treatment plan? No, his solution? Try warm your leg up. Literally useless. Emailed him for help no response. Complete jerk.
I spent 5 1/2 hours in the ED today and I have nothing but praise for the staff here. The news in the end was good but I was in a great deal of pain and discomfort. They managed my pain, making my stay more bearable. Congrats all!
not my personal experience. but i have a friend that lives in that area. she has asthma, and it gets relatively bad. she had gone in considering she felt as if she was going to faint, and that SHE knew she wasn’t okay. all they did was set her aside in the waiting room while she was trying her best to keep her oxygen levels even. they set her aside JUST because she wasn’t SHOWING clear symptoms. she was texting me in fear, worried she would pass out in the middle of that lobby. and no one did a thing. an EMERGENCY ROOM is ca... read more
