this was Wednesday july 24 2025... Wife is 45 years old she has dialysis bad kidneys congestive heart failure Now she got a call that she had a blood infection and to come in and they were going to give her antibiotics I drove her to St V's they took her to the 9th floor and they told me that she had Ebola in her bloodstream. A very rare but serious condition I was in the room when they told me there was nobody wearing hazmats she was on antibiotics with does not cure that disease did not rush her into any closed hazmat area... read more

Caring staff
I have no comments about the staff or hospital in general however I was very surprised with the cafeteria. This may come as a surprise to many but the hospital doesn't just serve the patient but the family members that are here to visit the patient. Having said that, I entered the cafeteria at 10:00am and the kitchen staff had removed all of the hot food and only offered cold vending machine food or a salad bar. No other options. Loved ones deserve a little consideration also.
