The care I received at St. Vincent Neighborhood Hospital in Avon was outstanding. However the billing department is hard to get ahold of. They do not offer affordable payment plans. They are requesting a 3 month payment plan which would make the payment over $400 a month. I do not know anyone that can afford $400 a month for ONE medical bill.
RecommendedI took myself to St Vincent Neighborhood Hospital in Avon last night due to severe right flank pain. From the moment I walked through the ER door all the staff were very friendly and compassionate. My nurse, Cassie T, was great. The x ray tech, Kathy, was very sweet. The Dr, Dr Addison Tarr was the friendliest ER doctor I have ever met. I was diagnosed with a kidney stone and UTI. The care I received was EXCELLENT
My care was very good. I was seen quickly and the staff was helpful. My not recommended comes from billing issues. I was paying in monthly payments and paid it off. I was billed again for my monthly payment. We called before the payment date to make sure it wouldn't happen. We were hung up on, transferred to a supervisor and got dropped, and left info for a supervisor and were never called back. Still trying to contact someone to get our billing fixed.
My experience was not so good . I fell at the skating rink and was in extreme pain. They were like Weight rude when I first came in but when my x-rays came back that my foot was not broken . They treated me like I was faking 😳. Just because my foot was not broke does not mean I was not in pain. The night shift crew is terrible. I have had three babies with St. Vincent facilities and never been treated as such. Worse visit at any hospital ever !!!!

This evening I learned that my fiancé was in a car accident and was getting medical treatment at their hospital. I turn in the hospital, I’m pregnant and they barely have parking spots so I drive around the building to find a spot convenient for me. As I’m driving around the building, I see multiple police cars in the parking lot. It seemed strange and i knew it couldn’t involve him because i just spoke to him 15 mins ago. I had a bad fall dec 6 at work and was taken to St V with a possible fractured wrist and a very sore back. They x-rayed and put a splint on my wrist but didn’t do anything for me about my back. This is a workers comp case, as well. After not getting an appt anywhere else, I went to Brownsburg hospital. Turns out I broke a vertebrae and surgery is scheduled for sat Dec 15. If only I would have received better service on the 6th, I would already be on the road to recovery.

went there for an infection on my index finger. All they did was prescribe an antibiotic. They didn't clean it, wrap it or anything. got my bill 1194.00. and 100.00 bill for Dr. . this is outrageous. They should warn people of their prices before hand. Notice, this maybe a small bldg and appear as an urgent care to most, but they are charging er hospital prices. it should be illegal to charge someone 1194.00 for a prescription.
