I had my tubes tied at this location by Doctor Shames. The staff here are very professional but also very kind. The nurse Maria knew about my extreme phobia of needles and instead of scaring me more offered an alternative. She used a numbing cream on the location. She warned me the numbing agent would sting and burn. I still chose to use it. The person who picked me up for anisttics(?), Dave, let me squeeze his hand during the iv insertion.
