I've been going to Dr. Black for several years. After I saw him a couple of times at first, I appreciated his conservatism and trustworthiness. I then moved and was going to another dental clinic for a period of time due to their close proximity to where I lived. Several years later, however, I began to suspect this other dentist was selling me dental work I didn't need. I have been a patient at SP Dental Center for almost 30 years mostly with Dr. Don Black. I joke that he is the "painless dentist" but it is true as is his care and professionalism. The work at SPDC is expensive, but you get what you pay for and for my beautifully crafted and lasting crowns, "once has been enough."

Most health care providers are so judgy. "Oh, your pancreas looks awful. You must not be living right," or whatever. But not so at St. Pete Dental Center. They are encouraging and gentle, and work with you to improve your dental health. My wife and I have been going there for years! Highly recommended.
