I had surgery scheduled with Dr Wang and they waited until 4 days prior to tell me I needed to see my primary before surgery. When I couldn’t get time off work they said oh well and cancelled the surgery. They didn’t even offer to reschedule!
What I don’t understand is why do the person checking you in have to verify ALL your information so loudly so everyone can hear that is waiting in the waiting area!! This should be a HIPPA VIOLATION! I specifically tried to avoid this my simply handing the person my ID! The “Karen” checking me in today, continued to ignore the fact I am handing her my ID and continue to speak loudly.
