5 STARS I came to this shop from Tampa looking for The Giant Escape Disc 3. Luckily when I arrived it was the last one in stock ! When it was time to pay there was a price difference between the online site and at the store price ,but Mark was really nice and gave me a deal which honestly he didn't have to do ,but he did. So a few weeks ago I decided to surprise my husband with a road bike. About a week went by so I called the shop to learn that the bike I originally purchased was impossible to find. In steps Mark who found a bicycle for my husband that was beyond what I imagined. The entire staff was aware of the surprise and just as excited as I was to make this happen. Ted is the man when it comes to repairs. He's been in the industry forever and can repair anything with the highest level of attention to detail. Mark and the team there have always been great. As an ex-employee, and long time Bike mechanic myself, I have some bias and perhaps some contention ;) but I'll always go there first when I need something because I trust Mark and Ted as staples in the community.
When my bike got a flat near Ft. Desoto's North Beach and I didn't have a spare, I remembered St. Pete Bicycle & Fitness' roadside assistance service. I called and sure enough, they rescued me, replaced my tube and got me on my way. What a great bonus for buyers. The staff is awesome too!
