All of St. Paul seems to gather here for lunch or dinner before hitting the theater. As busy as it is, the frosted glass panels scattered about the dining area give an air of privacy. The handsome, comfortable surroundings are what you would expect from a four-star establishment. The wait staff is experienced and considerate. The menu is a mixture of light entrees (pastas, walleye and chicken) and classic hearty meals (24oz steaks, pork chops and veal). The three page wine list has every vintage you can imagine. Lovely atmosphere, delicious pot pie and banana cream pie. Our waiter and other staff were perfectly understated and professional. Just what we needed after crazy cold day.
Business response:
Hi Tami. We are so sorry we didn’t live up to your expectations. Can you FB message us a phone number so we can follow up? Thank you.
Perfect birthday dinner for my wife! I had a very good walleye with sautéed veggies and Kay had the Landmark salad which was too big to finish. They served her a flourless chocolate cake with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles to share that topped the dinner perfectly!
Second anniversary dinner last night. The tenderloin was excellent as was the entree salad that we shared. Potatoes, both mashed and au gratin, were exquisite. Our server Tori was thoughtful and efficient, and even arranged for a special anniversary dessert for us! We look forward to returning next Christmas Eve and dining in view of the Rice Park holiday lights!!
Business response:
Happy anniversary Dave Collins! Thanks for dining with us!
We had a party of 9. We were seated right near the window overlooking the beautifully decorated grounds of the hotel and Rice Park that they decorate so well during the Christmas season. Our servers were friendly and informative and attentive. Our specialty drinks were very impressive and our food impeccable. Many ordered different cuts of steak and all were prepared specifically to our liking. It’s is one of our favorite places to dine and to stay overnight (at the St. Paul Hotel) and we can’t wait to go back!
