My husband and I went here for lunch on Friday. We ordered the oxtail and curry goat with a side of roti. The food was a strong 3.5. The oxtail could have been more tender and the rice and peas could have been fluffier. The rito tasted rubbery and not flaky like I’m used to. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great. We also ordered curry goat roti to go and chicken wings. Maybe because of where I’m from, but I always had the goat wrapped in the roti… never just in the side.
Food is great, but when I normally get jerk chicken it comes chopped up... at this place I think you gotta ask for it chopped up cause a few times I been here they have thrown whole pieces of jerk chicken on my plate....I dont like that but to each its own ... it has been times it was chopped up but it's been a few times it wasn't.
I recently ordered three dinners, drinks, a beef pattie and two slices of cake from this restaurant. The dinners themselves were okay—not amazing, but nothing in particular to complain about. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn when I started eating the lemon cake and realized it had mold on it. I called to request a refund for the cake and provided my receipt/order number. After being placed on hold, I was told that in order to receive a refund, I would need to bring the moldy cake back to the restaurant. That respons... read more
