Favorite Mexican food in Tucson! I have been going here my whole life. It’s that good. They have the best large tortillas that you can eat straight out of the bag. The red chili is a must try. Love the burritos and pretty much everything else. Expect a line at lunch. It’s worth it
I went to this place looking for Birria tacos. Based on EVERYWHERE ive seen, the tortillas are dipped in a sauce, and grilled/fried a little before making them into a taco... their menu states BIRRIA tacos, and when i picked them up, they were reg hardshell tacos that looked dryer than taco bell tacos smh... never again Below are what BIRRIA tacos are supposed to look like..

My recent trips to this place have been disappointing, they used to have better food and bigger portion sizes. Customer service seems to have gotten worse too. My friend complained and they basically said get over it. It's such a shame to see a traditionally excellent restaurant decline in quality. Time to find a new Mexican restaurant.
