I had a common procedure at St Mary's less than a month ago, just received a gigantic bill (even though it looks like a portion is still pending insurance), and now I'm getting text message spam from a collection agency. Again, it hasn't even been a month, and I just got the bill yesterday. It looks like this is just another corporate medical facility focused solely on how much cash it can wring out of patients as quickly as possible. I will never set foot in this hospital again!
Staff are not properly trained in normal procedures and patient care. This is a torture chamber, not a hospital.
If your loved one is in the ICU and they are being cared for by nurse Jimmy (the nurse who spends his time at the nurse’s station with his nose buried in a book instead of tending to patients) and Dr Ohe, do NOT leave them alone over night. Bad things will happen. You will file a formal complaint with the hospital but they will only question the staff, ignore the observations of the many family members, and blame you. The worst eveprience I have ever had the doctor came in for one minute completely disregarded the questions I had and sent me on my way with nothing. Do a whole bunch of uncessesary test to get more money from you and when you ask about doing test in regards to your symptoms they tell you no
