i have a severe neuro condition. lately the attacks have been getting far worse. uncontrollable vomiting. this hospital refuses to admit me so I can get better. I go up to 4 days in a row and the whole time I ridiculed by staff for coming back. I got back home last night. They make alot more money pushing me 3x then they would me staying for a week. Plus all money goes to the er and nothing to the hospital itself. They play games with my health for profit
RecommendedI went in for back surgery yesterday, and was home The same day. Everyone at the hospital was very professional and they made me feel relaxed and Confident of having surgery for the first time ever..this morning after breakfast, the doctor who operated on me, called me personally to ask how I was doing.. he asked me a few questions and was excellent.. Dr Jian Shen was the best.. 5 stars in my book. Great guy and Mohawk orthopedic in Amsterdam was the right and only place for me to go..

I needed a covid test to go back to work. I heard testing was free. I searched free covid testing Amsterdam and st marys healthcare was the 1st in line. I got my test. A month later got a 200$ bill. Why am I being billed this?

Ive worked for St. Marys in the past and Ive always thought it was a great community hospital. However, my last experience with them left me feeling differently. We had to drop a loved one off in the ER to be evaluated...she wasn't able to advocate for herself. The ER was very dismissive and really just did not want us there due to COVID (which I totally understand). I want to give a huge Thank You to the ER for taking care of me on June 17th when I presented with a significant burn to my arm. They took me in right away, no waiting. The care from Amber M, Cindy D and Janice P was wonderful. Sorry about by tears, I felt so helpless.

I just want to give a HUGE shout out, the biggestttt, to St. Mary's, ER. I had recently visited NLH (Nathan Littauer Hospital) in the past few weeks. ..oh my goodness were they rude, uncompassionate, unhelpful, and unsuccessful at diagnosing and treating me. Amazing experience for my friend who had surgery today. Everyone was top notch and super caring. Thank you for making an scary situation much easier. Right off the top of my head; Pre-OP Nurse Faye and Jennifer, Nurse Anesthetist Marti and Dr Marsh! Also Faye going out of her way to get us out of there by helping out. All of you really were awesome!💗
