The medical team working on February 4, 2025, was hardworking, efficient, and ensured all necessary tests were completed promptly with the best they could do, I heard emergency nurses saying “shoot all of our stock is not replenished” so they had to stop and go gather items. However, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I arrived by ambulance due to a cardiac issue, yet I had to wait over 11 hours (and counting) for a bed. Today we visited the emergency department, we waited 2:45 minutes till they called our name, then we went to the waiting room, there after 20 minutes we asked them when could we see the doctor, they informed us in 5 hours more or less !!! what .. 8 hours in the EMERGENCY department to see the doctor!!
Came in with shortness of breath and wheezing. Still waiting for a doctor at 5 hours in, someone who came after me with foot pain has already been seen and sent home. Utter bullcrap.
The staff went above and beyond to help me when I broke my hand,I have nothing but great things to say about the care I received at St Mary's. A huge thank you to ALL the staff
