Depends on the Doctor.Also what type of surgery you are having!!! Most of the nurses are very nice. Glad they now have single rooms.
I normally get great care here, but not today. It's 12:30 am, I'm in the ER with blood clots in both lungs, & my nurse (who's shift started at 7), just poked his head in my room & said, "Sorry, I've been taking care of more pressing issues. I'll be in to draw your blood soon". I've had nothing to eat & very little to drink today & I'm Diabetic. Unacceptable!
The Birthing Center here has an EXCELLENT staff. My Wife and I experience was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not go to this hospital. They don't know how to take care of people. My sister was in a car accident and had a hole in her lung. They keep the tube in for two days and took it out. NOT GOOD. Now she back in the hospital at u of m with a nether tube in her. They should keep her there longer then they did. So I we'll never go to that hospital even if I was died. They don't care one bit about anyone! And very rude! And she didn't get anything to for three days the really pissed me off every upset about that
My daughter just had her precious baby girl at St. Mary's. Couldn't ask for a better hospital! Everyone there goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need or want!
My boyfriend Mike Merrow had surgery & spent 6 days on the 2nd floor of the South Wing. There aren't enough words to express how happy we were with all the Nurse's, Nurse's Aids and every other employee we encountered during his stay!! Between the 2 of us, we have been to every hospital in Southeastern Michigan, but this was our first experience with St. Mary Mercy & BY FAR the BEST one yet!! We cannot Thank You all enough!!
