if you don’t want lasting trauma from an emergency room visit please make sure you’re not being treated by a middle aged butch woman wearing rainbows all over her (sorry I didn’t get to catch her name but it’s hard to miss) and also be prepared to hear from the nurses station a bunch of gossip about patients who are in pain and a vulnerable, uncomfortable position. 1 more thing, don’t expect to have any general respect from the majority of nursing staff because they are absolutely miserable and hate their jobs. Communication is key and they lack it. If they are busy or short staffed, say it. Not everyone complains and aren't accommodating. I was there for 3 hours, 2 in the waiting room and 1 in the room, not once did a nurse come in and see what was the matter. Ended up walking out and then got an after visit summary. It said I was seen by the Dr. I was not. That ER room is good for taking your blood pressure.
Poor service
Dirty. Someone pooped in the waiting room sink. Blood was all over the curtain in the rooms. I was there a week ago and will never return.
Today i was in st.mary medical center emergency room, with my 7 month old she fell 4 days ago and in a next day she had fever, I went urgent care they don’t checked her well, but here they check her very very well, I didn’t wait, they took her immediately also the doctors and nurses so professional and very polite, as mom now I’m going home with a calm heart because they checked her well and helped me a lot.
