Most frustrating, ridiculous hospital I've ever been in. No communication, after hours being there my nurse didn't even know why I was in because no one wrote anything down. I didn't get medications that were ordered from the ER doctor because no one put them in the notes! Lives are on the line and this hospital does not seem to care very much. It's in your very best interest to go to a different hospital.
I have always had great care there through the years.

I cant say enough good things about this hospital - especially the OB/GYNs and pretty much everyone in the Womens Pavillion. I would refuse to have my kids anywhere else.
Had such a great experience at St. Marks this last week while having surgery. Overall, the nurses and Drs. We're amazing.
I had three babies in the years here. Only had 1 bad nurse, out of 16+. On the other hand, I had 5 that were absolutely amazing. I can not recommend their women's pavilion enough!
Great doctors. Great nurses. Radiology tech were amazing but the food STINKS. Been here for 4 days and my chicken today was the first edible meal and that just means it tastes like chicken.
The last time I was at St Marks ER was also the last time going there ever! The nurse who drew my blood was eating chips before he put his gloves on to put an iv in my arm. No hand washing whatsoever. The bed rail had blood on it (not mine), and NO ONE would do anything about it except tell me to let my nurse know, who by that time had changed and I had no idea who it was. Then when he did come in asked me if I was sure it wasn't mine and said that sometimes blood squirts across the room when you get an iv put in. Worst pati... read more
