I went to the ER following a minor auto collision. All of the staff were very friendly and respectful. The doctor was knowledgeable and he listened to me. I waited less than ten minutes in the waiting area before being assigned a room. My whole experience (including x-rays) took less than 90 minutes, and I had expected to spend my whole evening there waiting. I would recommend the ER to my family and friends.
The staff was awesome , great care nice doctors and nurses .Thank you for taking care of my son Joaquin.Dr Preciado and all the nurses were wonderful!!
Dr in ER was crap presented with appendicitis like symptoms. Would not listen to what I was saying. Had several bouts with this and been on antibiotics multiple times over months so they said couldn't be appendix. Sent over from Urgent care for this reason. Took 2 nurses to put in IV, granted I was dehydrated. CT nurse told them to change IV... Just positional nurse said. Dr Said gall bladder issues when I haven't had one for years so impossible. Read CT results on my health shows I have one but no obvious tumor yet they com... read more
The staff & nurses in the OR are great! They are funny and I felt they truly cared. Now the reason it's getting a 3 is after a long process in the billing department with lots if problems, I will say they finally fixed the problem. I will go back because of most of the staff and I really hope to never have to deal with the billing department again. The nice lady at the front desk is a way better & happier person to deal with.
I've been with St. Mark's for 2 years now. Each day I have the opportunity to see how the staff treats patients with respect and compassion. I'm proud to say that I'm a St. Mark's Employee.
Did not happy with this hospital. I went into the ER yesterday because of a kidney infection that seems to be getting worse (painkillers don't help and it seems like my body has been fighting the infection alone). This is AFTER I went to the urgent care for the second time. All they really did was put in an IV (which ususally isn't too bad unless you keep moving the damn thing) and then push two bits of morphine which didn't help at all, did another UA and a CT scan. Your billing department needs to get their heads on right. I've been calling every 2 weeks since February to get a billing concern fixed. It FINALLY got fixed with my insurance but every time they say I'm eligible for a refund check because I paid too much I get ANOTHER bill for hundreds of dollars. I finally had to have my insurance call them to explain that they keep looking at the wrong explanation of benefits EVERY TIME they deny me my refund and I STILL got another bill! It's almost been a year! Fix this, please!
I've been with St. Mark's for 1.5 years. I'm proud to say that I'm part of this organization. Each day I have the opportunity to see the staff treat patients with the upmost treatment and compassion. Whenever friends and family ask me how I like working for the Hospital, I tend to get excited and end up taking over the conversation sharing how awesome my St. Mark's family truly is. I love St. Mark's!
I wouldn't take my family anywhere else. I might be biased because I work here but I love the teams of people who are genuine, compassionate and care about each person that comes through the door.
