My assigned nurse and doctor were very poor. They didn't respond to my requests.Waited for 4 hrs to finally get put in room. The ER nurse just ignored me. I needed pain medicine, but never got it for me. The hours that I was in the ER was a nightmare. Doctor stapled my 5 inch gash without deadening it. That was very painful.

My ER experience was outstanding. Practically no waiting. Dr. Carmack and his team assessed my condition quickly and consulted a specialist regarding treatment. They concluded a stay in the hospital was necessary and got me admitted without delay. Many thanks for a great effort. Kudos to all.

I received excellent care from the moment I showed up at the ER, through my life-saving surgery - until I signed out. My surgeon, Dr. Ryan, was outstanding! My nurses were knowledgeable, kind and caring. Can't say enough about being at the right place at the right time and under their care.

Then we were told they wanted to monitor her to make sure she doesn't throw up. She did throw up as soon as she got up from the bed and we w... read more

Was seen by doctor within 15 minutes and had MRI within 30 minutes! I started out at University Hospital, waited 3 hours and was told that it would be another 5-7 hours before I could see a doctor. Could have died by then.
