I have been with St Luke’s Pulmonary for about 15 years. It started when I had to go to the ER for shortness of breath. Dr. Paprota saved my life and was an amazing Dr. that diagnosed my Emphysema COPD and allergy driven asthma. After discharge I followed up with Dr Paprota until he moved down south. He recommended I stay with the practice and see Dr Alia. Dr Alia has a booked solid schedule so I saw some different Dr’s until I could get an appt with Alia. On July 23 my first visit to this practice it was a happy and joyful day. I was upbeat and all smiles. I felt my time with the doctor was a great experience and the staff had me laughing when I had to do a lung function test I hadn't done before. Came home and thought that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. UNTIL that is I read the doctor's after visit notes. Then we had a MAJOR PROBLEM! Dr. Ido is fantastic! I wouldn't have any other physician taking care of me. He goes above and beyond for his patients.
Sorry but I don't understand how my blood work showed I have high levels of certain things and you tell me I shouldn't worry. I mean I looked up what could possibly be wrong and it's pretty life threatening. Then you want me to wait another 3-4 months to take more blood work to see if it's still there??? Why charge me a ton of money for these tests if you wont help me?? I be having chest tightness and I should have nothing to worry about?
