This place is absolutely dangerous and negligent and I didn't think it could get worse than Essentia Health, but it does! I have been dealing with Seratonin Syndrome (A dangerous and life altering syndrome) for a month now and it is crucial I see someone because I am not getting any better. Today they call and say my doctor is out until the end of the week and I can't be seen! This clinic is awful, I’ve had very pleasant bedside manner from one of the Doctors, but then he NEVER follows through. And his staff, especially the wknd staff, are incredibly rude, not helpful, almost willfully so. I just want to get well!
Do NOT choose R. DeLuca NP . She is one of the most not compassionate , not caring , not sensitive doctor I have ever met . Psychiatrists are special doctors and should be empathetic, compassionate and good listeners to patient needs. Shame on her . She should change profession and not allowed to treat patients this way .
As if mental health wasn't hard enough, St Luke's Hillside somehow made it harder. And every person gatekeeping at reception has been well trained to say, "I hear you. There's nothing I can do." Or, "Yes, ma'am. I understand." Not one person at that front desk has been willing to help me track down a referral or figure out how to make the process any easier - for me OR my kids. "More than a name on a schedule?" People at the marketing firm clearly haven't ever been a patient.
