The staff were excellent. But the turn around time for simple x-rays to be resulted (especially when it is for a matter of pre-employment clearance), is absolutely terrible and questionably in violation of 21st century cares act!
First I have no idea why the MRI was scheduled at the west end facility when I live within walking distance of the main hospital that has its own imaging dept. Secondly, while the MRI was uneventful I couldn't get a copy of the MRI because the facility has no CD burner. You have to be joking. It has a million dollar MRI scanner but doesn't have a 25 dollar cd burner. Getting a copy of the report and the disk was like bailing out the ocean with a fork. This was my first time to this location. Had an MRI ordered by my doctor. My experience was not pleasant to say the least. It's understandable to be asked to change for the MRI and it's what I was told prior to the day however I was not informed everything had to be removed. I was only there to have my foot and ankle done. And being new to the facility I would have greatly appreciated it if I would have been instructed ahead of time.
