While I was in this hospital for kidney failure, Kristen Vela made light of me being starved for dinner while mistreated my mother over the phone when she tried to correct their mistake. She advised my mother, “He isn’t going to waste away”. She did not care for a chronically ill patients well being and was actively trying to avoid caring for me as the patient.
