I had a bone density scan this week at St. Luke's Eagle location. A majority of my appointments usually take place downtown or in Meridian. So, it was nice to have a 5 minute drive to my appointment since this office is down the road from me. The receptionist here is so nice! I came to this urgent care after noticing that my vision had suddenly changed in one of my eyes. They completed eye tests using vision charts and were very dismissive and not listening to my concerns. I was seeking medical advice and they told me that it I was really concerned then I could go to the ER. I told them that this didn't seem like an ER level issue, I just needed guidance and to be evaluated further. Took my mom for labs and imaging. We were seen quickly, and everybody treated her with dignity and compassion, especially Richard in imaging. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes.
What is the point of bringing someone in with intractable vomiting if the doctor releases them after 1 hour and the throw up in the car ride home!? At least keep them long enough to ensure they are not going to keep vomiting and have enough fluids. Not like they were busy even but she got the bums rush. I was going to turn right back around but she made me just take her home. Update: Ended up having to bring her back an hour or so later that same day as the vomiting was intense and painful, would have become dehydrated again... read more
