Went twice for workman’s comp falls. Had the same PA twice. The first time she wouldn’t look at me or answer any of my questions. The second time they had no cold ice packs, made me remove my wound dressings and then I had to remind them to cover them up. Nothing but band aids, no ointment. Additionally, they ignored a significant head injury, and wanted to x ray my knee, which I'm assuming was a money grab. If they can't get money out of your visit, they don't care. The doctor who saw me was simply excellent. He was exceptional in active listening, excels in both the art and science of medicine in the setting he is currently in with slhn, was able to take complex ideas and break them down in such a way to be readily understood, and yet could still be candid with his thoughts and opinions. I've already told people local to that office how lucky the community is to have him. If I wasn't already with another great slhn practice, I'd figure out a way to make him my primary physician.
