Declining customer service and abysmal responsiveness! Got a bid for routine slate tile roof maintenance over 4 months ago, was told there was a 5-week backlog. After making a down payment and over 4 months later, no sign of this roofing service ins spite of further damage to my roof leaving me with the possibility of serious water leaks. Still waiting for the job to get done, continue to receive pathetic excuses from this company. Be forewarned, stay away and use someone else.

We were selling a house in SO STL city with a slate tile roof that DID not leak and was in good shape. Mark was asked to by the potential buyer to inspect. He did but instead of coming back with a estimate to make any needed repairs his answer was a bid to replace the entire roof. When I asked him how often he does this verses a repair bid he said most times he just bids a new roof. His rational is they are all old. If you want to lose a sale use these guys. By the way the bid was $90K. What is this?

St. Louis Slate & Tile did a wonderful job repairing some significant issues we had with our slate roof. Not only were they much more responsive than any of the other slate roof companies I contacted (some of whom never bothered to get me a quote after coming out), but the owner was thoughtful and detail-oriented whenever I had questions along the way.
