We were extremely disappointed with the care our 3-year-old son received at Children’s Hospital when we brought him in for what we believed was an allergic reaction to peanuts. Despite explaining our concerns, we felt that his symptoms were not taken seriously. The focus of his care seemed to be on treating nausea and monitoring his blood pressure rather than thoroughly evaluating him for an allergic reaction. Probably the best hospital in St Louis. Long wait times but at least you know you're in the best place you can be in an emergency.
I can’t express my gratitude enough for this hospital. As worried first time parents, I’m thankful we were referred to the ENT department at this hospital. Our concerns were listened to, the dr’s, nurses, and medical staff were great. My child (under one year old) required surgery and the care he received here was phenomenal.
