If you follow the ambulance from one hospital to another after visiting hours, they'll make you sit there for over an hour for their sibling to be with them before they undergo emergency surgery. My 9 year old has now been alone for over an hour and I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for permission to join her. This is bs. Then security says there isn't a social worker her tonight, which means they're making me wait to get permission from a person who isn't here
i was admitted to this hospital at least 4 times for psychiatric needs. Every time i need that level of care, I let my nurses know that i would prefer to go to childrens. Kind staff, Good enviroment, Good food during your stay, you are provided clothes and cared for. Angel was a great psychiatrist and was amazing at keeping me informed of my care, along with Alix. Groups are engaging and informing. ( The repetition works! I have taught the escalation cycle outside of childrens!! ) This is the best Psych unit that I have ever... read more
This hospital is a waste of time.If you don’t have good insurance or money they will refuse to preform an MRI or do any of the such that is much needed for a child with Chiari malformation that also went to the Er TWICE in two days for bad chest pain and sharp head pains.And they made a point to tell us that it would cost 1000s of dollars to do.Like all I care about is my child getting better.
Dr. Susan Bayliss help me through a very tough time trying to figure out what was wrong with me when I was a kid. I kept getting misdiagnosed with psoriasis. With Dr. Bayliss’s assistance she was able to correctly, diagnose me with eczema. Without her help, I don’t think I would’ve had such easier time life in my life. She also was there for me when I ended up getting a virus in my eyes around Christmas time. She visited me when she didn’t have to, and I’m so glad to have her in my life.
