Update: To clarify, Carpet Court never provided us with any fact sheet from the Carpet Institute of Australia before or after installation, despite your claim that all customers are given one. I have reviewed the original quotation and tax invoice, and no such document was included. Poor experience - rude, impatient and condescending manner from staff - so went to Chatswood Carpet Court instead where they were much nicer to deal with!
Carpet Court installed our carpet in 2023. The installers were unfriendly and impolite and one video-called his partner and filmed inside our home without asking. They also damaged multiple skirting boards (scuffs, dents, and gouges) during the fitting. Some seams were visibly peaked on the day. We were told “they’ll settle with use”. Two years later: Those seams still show at certain angles in normal light — not invisible as expected. My experience with Carpet Court was very good; the carpet layer, Evan/Ivan was excellent, too. He was from E A Flooring, I believe. So polite, helpful and good at his job. A real credit to Carpet Court.
