Thinking I am there just to seek drugs. I was in there the last 2 times I broke bones very serious. I wait in your hallway for hours and given a Tylenol and coden once and told to sit in the lobby. we waited 6hrs more until my son demanded I be seen now. so I get my xrays and I get asked by a x ray tech how do I sleep at night. I told them I don't. I AFFRAID to go to Saint Judea because they once kept me 5 hrs to get an x ray by a pretty blonde PA who after waiting for the x rays result told me I am fine just go home. My deaf aunt has been in their care since Wednesday night (it is now Sunday). She has been refused an interpreter over and over again. They did surgery, had her sign pre-op papers, and all meetings with Drs and nurses have been without an interpreter. They sometimes offer her an interpreter through an iPad, but she is also blind in one eye and has told them many times that she cannot fully understand the interpreter on the iPad. The St. Jude Acute Rehab staff have been amazing. The DR.’s, Therapist, Nurse’s and CNA’s are all top notch. In the beginning there were times I wanted to give up due to pain but thankfully they never gave up on me and 2.5 weeks later I’m ready to go home. Thank you ARU for giving me your support, kindness and the push I needed to be independent.
