If I die yall and Piedmont are responsible. I can't hardly breathe, can't walk with contrast nerve pain, numbness in my saddle, fever,,chills and was told by neurolysist what you want him too do? My pains are real and I've been to Emory and Piedmont hospitals

I waited in the emergency room for over 7 hours without being seen. During that entire time, no one gave me any updates, reassurance, or even acknowledged how long I had been waiting. I understand that emergencies can cause delays, but communication and compassion go a long way. Being left in the waiting room for hours with no information or concern for patients is unacceptable. I was there 7 hours in pain in the waiting room only for them to begin letting people ahead of me because my symptoms weren’t severe enough. I had to ask why I was still waiting after so many people were going ahead of me after 7 HOURS. Drove an hour to go there. Biggest mistake. Never again.

We live close to N. Fulton, but I would not go there except for trauma. For any internal issues I go out of the way to go to St. Joseph's. Fantastic care and communication through the process. I see complaints about the ER times, but every ER is slow unless your condition requires immediate attention like heart issues.
