I didn’t want to need an endocrinologist but with my daughters T1D diagnosis we were assigned to Dr Prasad when my daughter was admitted into the hospital. She has been kind and patient with my daughter and all of us as we learn a new normal living with diabetes. Beyond Dr Prasad her Diabetes educator is always there with any questions I have or help I need. Dr Prassad is a kind, caring and thorough md. Highly recommend.
Dr Prassad is an ATROCIOUS Endocrinologist. She is uneducated,ignorant,dismissive and rude. We went to her to help treat our son's thyroid condition. We brought EXTRA blood work from a HIGHLY regarded infectious disease Dr(completely related to the thyroid) she said and I quote...I don't know how to read this. At one point she actually had the nerve to ask us what we want to do. The problem is she CONSTANTLY CHANGED HER DIAGNOSIS!! I WOULDN'T BRING A STRAY DOG TO HER LET ALONE A CHILD. Made an appointment with this doctor for my teenage daughter at the recommendation of her pediatrician. Was en route to the appointment, hit many detours due to downed trees from the recent hurricane and was running about 10 minutes late. Much to my surprise, I was told not to bother coming in after explaining the situation to a staff member. Very annoyed as I took a day off work to bring my daughter to this appointment.
