I went to the ER and the security staff, nurses, technicians and doctor where nice, caring and very professional. They took good care and paid attention to everything. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the receptionist (Kayla). She's unprofessional and rude. Being the first person you see when you get there, should be more kind with patients who go to receive care not feeling well at all.
Update: I had a blood clot in my brain which led to a brain bleed, a week of seizures, and at least one grand mal stroke. This happened a week after St. Joseph’s released me. My hematologist stated that the brain bleed was causing the migraines that I was experiencing when I went to St. Joseph’s. They insisted that I still pay for my visit. I submitted a complaint and a request for investigation. They said that there was no evidence of malpractice. My insurance and I were calling them to see what could be done. By far the slowest emergency room if you even wanna call it that, I’ve had faster service at a urgent care, they have no urgency whatsoever at this place, plz hire better and more competent staff
My daughter has sickle cell. We have had many experiences with this hospital in the almost 3 years we’ve been living here. In all those times I’ve had maybe one negative experience, and that’s because they were literally bursting and the seems with patients. They always double check any care plan with her hematologist. I trust them with my baby girl.
Terrible, no empathy, didn't provide a diagnosis and just tried to shove pain meds. Do not recommend.
