it's a great hospital.
Wouldn’t recommend doing any liver biopsy here or something where it’s supposed to be “local” sedation without an anesthesiologist. I was not given enough right away and SCREAMED while they started inserting the needle they quickly gave me more but it shouldn’t have ever happened. This was for a research clinical trial: they continue to bill me despite having the information on file to bill the company. Just seems negligent.
That was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. That's St. Joe. I've seen one doctor who said I was actively having a heart attack and they were looking for a room upstairs for me, needless to say, I was still in the emergency Room for 25 hours later, and after the first initial visit from AE R doctor. I never seen another doctor for 17 hours and when the woman came in, she wanted me to do these tests that I cannot take. I have lung cancer. I have COPD, they wanted me to do nuclear tests, which I cannot till I get permiss... read more
Just had my first baby with my wife and this was hands down the worst inexperienced "experienced" staff I have ever seen. Little to no explanation, the list of improper medical procedures and care for my wife. I will not ever come here, even in life or death.
